To install a WordPress template that will make your website look similar to https://bsr-aurora.nl/ follow the steps below.

Prerequisites are:

• a registered domain name/website address

(I got one from https://www.vimexx.eu/)

• a webhosting package with a webhosting company.

(I got one from https://www.bhosted.nl/webhosting/hostingpakket the 1GB is more than enough)

To do the initial installation, most webhosting companies offer simple 1-click installation for WordPress options. If you have any trouble getting it installed, you can contact me and we can make an appointment where I can guide you through the process in a few minutes.

After WordPress is installed, log in to your admin panel and follow these steps.

On your WordPress page go to Plugins and click Add New Plugin

Then on the next page, click Upload Plugin

Then download this file: All-In-One-WP-Migration-With-Import-master (right click > save link as…)

Select it and install it with these 4 steps:

Then activate the plugin

In the sidebar, go to All-in-One WP Migration and then to Import

Download this file: bsr-website-template (right click > save link as…)

Select IMPORT FROM > FILE

Pick the downloaded file

Wait for the upload to complete

Click Proceed

Wait for the processes to finish

Don’t close the window until you see the success message and click Close

Log in using these details

Go to Users > Add New User

Create a username that you like, generate or make up a password (and remember it), set the Role to Administrator, and click the Add New User button

Log out from the website in the top right-hand corner, and log in again with your newly created user.

Go to Users > All Users

Click Delete on the AdminBSR user

Attribute the content to your newly created user account and Confirm Deletion

You are now set up with a basic template. Now go make it your own!

You can start at Pages > All pages, and edit the texts on the pages

• PLEASE change all texts to your own version. Otherwise search engines will see it all as copies and we all will be left out of the search results.

After that, you can go to Appearance > Customize, and change things to your liking.

• You can click on the pencil icons to change blocks on your page
• To edit the main text on the front page don’t click the eye icon (it will disable the whole element on the page). Go to Pages > All pages, and edit the page with the [— Front Page] text behind it.
